At Crow Canyon's archaeology camps, students age 12 to 18 dig at a real archaeological site in southwestern Colorado. These academic/science camps also include opportunities for teens to learn about American Indian cultures. Each camp includes a field trip to nearby Mesa Verde National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Crow Canyon is currently excavating sites inhabited by ancestral Pueblo Indians (Anasazi) more than 1,000 years ago.
In 2015 USA Today named our archaeology summer camps one of the 10 best adventure camps for kids.
