Volunteer at Crow Canyon!

Jeanne Becker leading the Crow Canyon TourCrow Canyon is seeking smart, interesting people to lead visitors on one-hour tours of our campus.

The tour will include Crow Canyon’s archaeology laboratory, the Pithouse Learning Center (a replica of a seventh-century Pueblo Indian dwelling), and the Pueblo Farming Project’s demonstration gardens. More information about the tour is available on the Crow Canyon website.

Volunteer docents must be articulate, friendly, and comfortable speaking to a group. They must be able to follow a detailed tour outline and lead campus walks up to one mile long. Previous experience as a museum docent, knowledge of Southwestern archaeology, and a college degree are desirable.

A commitment of just four hours a month—two hours per day, twice a month, during the morning—from May to October is required.
