Roof Description
Two strata were interpreted in the field as roof fall or possible roof fall: The upper stratum consists of orange tan silt loam, but no wood; the lower stratum includes some unburned wood and orange brown silt loam. Although the field recorder postulated that the the two strata may correspond to upper and lower stories of a two-story building, there is no conclusive evidence---such as wall sockets---to justify the designation of a second story (the low height of the extant walls and the relatively small amount of wall fall found in fill also argue against the original existence of a second story).
