No tree-ring dates for this room. The end of a primary beam from the room adjacent to and south of this room (Structure 10-S) extends slightly into this room. The beam provided a noncutting date of A.D. 1276vv. This beam is believed not to have been part of the roof of this room. However, the beam rests at almost the same elevation as a beam socket in this room, suggesting that the roofs of both structures were built at roughly the same time. If this is the case, this room was built after A.D. 1276. This room was constructed before the upper story (Structure 19-S) was built.
