STRUCTURE DATING

Abandonment
A partial, reconstructible McElmo Black-on-white bowl and a few Mesa Verde Black-on-white and Mesa Verde Corrugated sherds were left on the floor, and indicate that the kiva was abandoned during Pueblo III times.
Construction
No tree-ring dates; however, bench face and pilasters are typical of Pueblo III architecture.
Remodeling
No data to indicate when second kiva floor was built.
Reuse
No clear-cut evidence of reuse.
