Abandonment
Structure 229 was abandoned immediately prior to regional abandonment.
Construction
Structure 229 was constructed after the abandonment of Structure 225. Based on architectural characteristics and pottery data, Structure 225 was constructed during the late Pueblo III period. Therefore, Structure 229 was also constructed in the late Pueblo III period, immediately prior to regional abandonment.
