STRUCTURE DATING

Abandonment
No direct means of dating the abandonment; would have been sometime after A.D. 1260.
Construction
Numerous tree-ring samples were recovered from the roof fall of Structure 1205, which is the lower-story room below Structure 1217. The tree-ring samples appeared to be from the floor of Structure 1217. The dates range from A.D. 1026 to 1260. The latest dates (two A.D. 1260 cutting dates) probably best indicate when this structure (and Structure 1205 below) were built.
