Abandonment
Probably abandoned sometime after A.D. 1268. Refuse in the room fill indicates that abandonment of this room occurred while occupation of the architectural block continued.
Construction
The 12 tree-ring dates for this structure span A.D. 992+vv to 1268+vv. There are no clusters of dates, and the one cutting date is A.D. 1262+B. The beams that dated to 1262 and 1268 were reportedly found in secondary refuse rather than in roof fall, so this wood might not have been from the roof of this structure. Structurally, the rooms in this D-shaped, bi-wall structure appear to have been built at the same time; the latest tree-ring date from roof fall in the bi-wall rooms is a cutting date of A.D. 1260, which is for Structure 1503. Thus, it is likely that all of the bi-wall rooms in this block were built around or after A.D. 1260.
Remodeling
The only evidence of remodeling is the blocking of the doorway; there are no means of dating this event.
Reuse
The room was briefly reused for the deposition of refuse; this occurred sometime after A.D. 1268.
