STRUCTURE DATING

Abandonment
No means by which to date the abandonment of the structure; but it probably occurred after A.D. 1267, which is the latest tree-ring date for this kiva suite.
Construction
No tree-ring dates for this structure; wall abutments indicate that the room was built after Structure 212 (tower), and probably at the same time as Structure 202, neither of which are well dated. The best tree-ring dates for this kiva suite are for Structure 204, which was built or still in use sometime after A.D. 1267.
Remodeling
No means of dating the remodeling of this structure, which consisted of creating a prepared surface on top of a layer of construction fill.
Reuse
No evidence of reuse.
