Arbitrary Unit 3 consists of the probability sampling stratum that curves around the interior border of the site, more-or-less following the lower slope as it drops toward the canyon bottom (see Database Map 4002). Ten randomly selected 2-x-2-m units and two "judgment" units were excavated within Arbitrary Unit 3.
