Masonry Details
General Location North part of the site.
Specific Location Just north of the roomblock in Architectural Block 2100.
Selection Criteria See associated excavation unit(s).
Use Outdoor use surface on which the roomblock in Architectural Block 2100 was constructed.
Abandonment Abandoned when the occupation of this area ended.
Postabandonment Processes Covered with wall fall and naturally deposited sediments.
Dating of Construction The presence of Mesa Verde Black-on-white pottery in the thin stratum of refuse beneath this surface indicates that this surface was used (and Structure 2103 was thus constructed) sometime after A.D. 1180.
Dating of Remodeling
Dating of Abandonment The presence of Mesa Verde Black-on-white pottery beneath this surface indicates that the surface was used, and thus also abandoned, sometime after A.D. 1180.

Location 2-x-1 meter grid unit, long axis oriented north-south 1219N 1035E. North part of site. Just north of roomblock in Architectural Block 2100.
Selection Criteria Judgmental. To expose segment of the north face of roomblock masonry and to document any earlier deposits beneath it.
Excavation Strategy Natural strata.
Unit Ends at Undisturbed native sediment.Excavated only the portion of the unit that was outside the room.
