Masonry Details
General Location Central part of the site.
Specific Location South of the roomblock in Architectural Block 600.
Selection Criteria Surface was encountered during excavations to sample the midden in this architectural block.
Use Prehistoric ground surface into which a burial pit was excavated
Abandonment Abandoned as a surface when refuse was deposited on it
Postabandonment Processes Surface was buried by a midden that was subsequently churned by looting activities
Dating of Construction Surface was not constructed.
Dating of Remodeling
Dating of Abandonment Surface was abandoned sometime after A.D. 1180; this inference is based on the association of Mesa Verde Black-on-white pottery with a feature on this surface.
