Masonry Details
General Location North part of the site.
Specific Location South of the roomblock in Architectural Block 900.
Selection Criteria To sample midden associated with this architectural block.
Use Outdoor use surface associated with a firepit (Feature 1)
Abandonment Use of this surface ended when it was covered by refuse
Postabandonment Processes Covered by several layers of refuse and then natural, aeolian deposits
Dating of Construction Surface was not constructed.
Dating of Remodeling
Dating of Abandonment The abandonment of this surface probably occurred sometime after A.D. 1180. This inference is based on the presence of Mesa Verde Black-on-white pottery in the 20-cm-thick stratum of refuse resting on this surface.
