Selection Criteria
This 2-x-2-m unit was placed southeast of Structure 1114 to sample associated midden deposits; encountered Nonstructure 1116, Feature 1.
Use
This surface represents an extramural surface from which a pit feature (Feature 1) was excavated. The surface is undisturbed native sediment and was not prepared in any way.

This surface was covered by secondary refuse and natural fill.

Based on pottery data, this surface was used during the early Pueblo III period.
