Extramural surface from which a pit, Feature 1, was excavated.
Abandonment
This surface was abandoned by the late Pueblo II period.
Postabandonment Process
Secondary refuse (Nonstructure 238) was deposited above this surface. Natural fill accumulated above the refuse; the upper portions were disturbed by plowing.

Secondary refuse, Nonstructure 238 was deposited above this surface and dates from the late Pueblo II period. Therefore, Nonstructure 248 dates from the late Pueblo II period or earlier.
