Doorway in second story room.

The feature is a doorway that allowed access between a second-story room (Structure 21-S) and a probable courtyard on top of a kiva (Structure 13-S). The base of this doorway rests at the same elevation as the base of another doorway (Structure 22, F-1), that also provided access to the kiva roof/courtyard of Structure 13-S.

Horizontal location
East wall of Structure 21; 43 cm from cliff face, which is the inferred northwest corner of room.
Vertical location
Distance from roof of lower story (Structure 11-S) to base of doorway is 1.09 m; 63 cm from the wall ledge to the base of doorway; ledge represent base of upper-story wall (Structure 21-S).
Construction
This feature was constructed as part of the east wall. The base consists of a tabular sill that is longer than the door is wide; portions of the sill are smooth, probably from use. The sides are defined by pecked blocks; most of the cornerstones are pecked on both faces. The masonry is five courses high and two courses wide on both sides. The top consists of a tabular flaked lintel that overlaps the sides of the doorway.

The south edge has separated from the wall and is leaning away from the wall; it is very unstable.
