General description
Masonry wall that encloses an extramural area on the west end of the great tower complex.
Use history
Probably used to enclose an extramural area associated with the west end of the great tower complex. After abandonment, it is estimated that 3 to 4 courses collapsed; the bottom 2 to 3 courses are intact.

Excavation procedure
Not excavated--exposed only and left in place while excavation continued down on both sides of it.
Portion excavated
Portion within Segment 8 only; feature continues outside excavation unit to the north and south.
Horizontal location
Runs north-south through general center of Segment 8; exposed portion is 6 m southwest of the great tower.
Vertical location
Rests on an extramural use surface in refuse fill.
Construction
Constructed as a double-stone-with-core masonry wall with various-sized, unshaped stones, resting on midden fill. The original height is unknown, but thought to have not been more than 1 m high (determined from associated rubble).
