General description
North-south trending, earth and stone berm.

Used as a dam to impound water and probably to slow the loss of sediment during runoff.

Horizontal location
Located in eastern one-third of 1 x 2 near the west edge of a large natural depression near the southwest edge of the site.

Prehistoric ground surface about 54 cm below modern ground surface and 23 cm above bedrock.
Construction
Berm was constructed by depositing a north-south linear mound of construction fill, and capping the fill with sandstone rocks, probably to deter erosion of the earth berm.
