General description
This feature is a natural shaft in a crack in the cliff face; there is no evidence of modification. Interpreted to be an entryway to the tower.

Served as entrance to the tower from below the cliff.

Portion excavated
Upper 170 cm. Excavation was terminated because of danger of falling stones.
Horizontal location
Southwest quadrant of tower.
Vertical location
Opens onto bedrock floor (Surface 1) of tower.

Not applicable. This is a natural feature. The tower was built over the crack in the bedrock, probably to take advantage of it.
