Provided access between the upper and lower stories (Structures 1217 and 1205, respectively); possibly used as "dump hole" after the lower story was no longer being used.

Feature number was assigned to account for the Structure 1217 side of Feature 4 in the lower story (Structure 1205). See Structure 1205, Feature 4, data.

Collapsed ceiling of Structure 1205 (which was the floor of Structure 1217).
Construction
Hatchway was built into the upper-story floor/lower-story ceiling. Secondary-size beams formed the four sides of the hatchway opening; shakes were found resting along one of these side beams.
