Construction
The sides of the doorway are masonry, with unshaped cornerstones. The lintel and the sill each consist of a large, tabular stone.

General description
Basin-shaped depression containing burned sediment and ash; possibly originally associated with the inferred upper-story floor (structure number not assigned), but collapsed into room below.
Use history
Informal pit inferred to have been used to contain fire(s), possibly for heat, light, and/or cooking. It may have been associated with an inferred upper-story floor that fell into the room below (no associated structure number or surface number was assigned to the possible upper story).

Recorded in provenience data, which are available through the "Field Data: Provenience Data" query in the multisite research database. The portion of the feature exposed in the test unit was designated Segment 1 and was excavated in a single stratum.
