General Location North part of the site.
Specific Location South of roomblock in Architectural Block 1100.
Selection Criteria To sample midden in this architectural block.
Use This area was used for the deposition of refuse, probably by the residents of the nearby roomblock.
Abandonment
Postabandonment Processes Uppermost refuse might have eroded away.
Dating of Midden This 40-cm-thick stratum of refuse contains Mesa Verde Black-on-white sherds and is above a pit feature that contains the same pottery type, which leads to the inference that this refuse was deposited after A.D. 1180.
