General Location Central part of the site.

Use This area was used for the deposition of refuse, probably by the residents of the nearby roomblock; some refuse could predate the visible roomblock.

Postabandonment Processes All but the lowermost deposits were mixed by recent looting activities.
Dating of Midden This 70-cm-thick midden contains Pueblo III White Painted sherds in the lowermost (and undisturbed) portion of this midden, indicating that earliest refuse was deposited here sometime after A.D. 1100. The presence of Mesa Verde Black-on-white sherds in the churned deposits indicates that this midden was probably deposited after A.D. 1180.
