|Dating of Midden
||This 1.20-m-thick midden contained some Pueblo I pottery and abundant Pueblo II and Pueblo III pottery. However, the presence of Mesa Verde Black-on-white sherds in the lowermost (and undisturbed) stratum leads to the inference that much or all of this refuse was deposited sometime after A.D. 1180.
