General Location North part of the site.
Specific Location Just north of the roomblock in Architectural Block 800.
Selection Criteria Refuse encountered during excavations to expose a segment of the outside face of the north wall of this roomblock.
Use Area was used for the deposition of refuse, probably by the residents of the nearby roomblock
Abandonment Abandoned when occupation of this area ended
Postabandonment Processes Covered by naturally deposited sediment
Dating of Midden This 6-to-26-cm-thick midden contains Mesa Verde Black-on-white pottery, which leads to the inference that this refuse was deposited sometime after A.D. 1180.

Location 2-x-1 meter grid unit, long axis oriented north-south 1191N 1008E. North part of site. Just north of roomblock in Architectural Block 800.
Selection Criteria Judgmental. To expose roomblock masonry and determine presence of earlier occupations beneath roomblock.
Excavation Strategy Natural strata.
Unit Ends at Undisturbed native sediment.
