Selection Criteria
Within randomly selected 1-x-1-m unit.
Use
Disposal of secondary refuse by residents from a nearby roomblock during the late Pueblo II through early Pueblo III periods.
Abandonment
This area was no longer used for midden disposal after the early Pueblo III period.
Postabandonment Process
Natural sediments accumulated above Nonstructure 1303. Plowing disturbed the upper portions of the refuse deposits.
Dating of Midden
Secondary refuse was deposited into this area during the late Pueblo II through early Pueblo III periods.
