Central portion of site.
Specific Location
East-central edge of Block 1300; exposed in Backhoe Trench 1305 and EU 476 and 477.
Selection Criteria
Two 2.4-x-2-m units were used to sample this deposit.
Use
Secondary refuse was deposited into the depression of Structure 1307 by residents from a nearby roomblock during the late Pueblo II period.
Abandonment
Refuse was no longer discarded in this area after the late Pueblo II period.
Postabandonment Process
Natural sediments accumulated above Nonstructure 1321; the upper portion was disturbed by plowing.
Dating of Midden
Secondary refuse was deposited in this area during the late Pueblo II period.
