General Location
Northeastern portion of site.
Specific Location
West-central portion of Block 1400; deposited in the depression of Structure 1416.
Selection Criteria
Exposed in Backhoe Trench 1415; Segment 1 and 2-x-2-m unit were excavated to sample the secondary refuse deposit.
Use
The refuse was deposited into the depression of Structure 1416 by residents of a nearby roomblock during the early Pueblo III period.
Abandonment
Secondary refuse was no longer deposited after the early Pueblo III period.
Postabandonment Process
Natural sediments accumulated above the secondary refuse deposits; the upper portion of these deposits were disturbed by plowing.
Dating of Midden
Secondary refuse was deposited into the depression of Structure 1416 during the early Pueblo III period.

Judgmental. Unit placed south of Backhoe Trench 1415 to sample Nonstructure 1418 deposits and to define Structure 1416 boundaries.

Strata subdivided into arbitrary levels.
Unit Ends at
Fill continued. Excavation ceased at 93.34 m (PD 2018).

Judgmental. Backhoe Trench 1415 was excavated to test remote sensing anomaly; exposed Structure 1416. Segment 1 was excavated from base of trench (western portion only) to sample the structure and to sample Nonstructure 1418.
