Specific Location
West-central portion of Block 200; south of Structure 221.
Selection Criteria
2-x-2-m units were judgmentally placed south of Structures 221, 222, 223, and 224 to sample associated midden deposits.
Use
Secondary refuse was discarded in this area by residents of a nearby roomblock (probably Structures 221, 222, and 223) during the late Pueblo II period.
Abandonment
Refuse was no longer discarded in this area after the late Pueblo II period.
Postabandonment Process
Natural sediments accumulated above the refuse; the upper portions were disturbed by plowing.
Dating of Midden
Secondary refuse was deposited into this area in the late Pueblo II period.
