About this Structure
General Location
Northeast corner of pueblo. Part of rim complex; located at base of cliff.
Specific Location
Room is in a natural shelter in the cliff face; west of Structure 23-S and north of Structure 13-S.
Interpretive Type
Living room.
Structure Use
Narrow, long room in a natural shelter; sooting observed in a crevice at the top of the shelter, on a masonry feature (Feature 2), and on a portion of the east wall, indicates the likely presence of a thermal feature; if this is the case, this was a living room; doorway in south wall led to and from the kiva roof/courtyard (Structure 13-S); there is no evidence of a doorway on the east side of the room, however, the wall is not well preserved.
