Use of structure inferred to be consistent with other small kivas of this time period--probably some combination of domestic and ritual uses. Structure contains a heavily used, twice-remodeled, formal hearth, a carefully leveled and plastered floor, and masonry lining on a subterranean wall. Floor- and roof-fall artifacts include a variety of tools (flaked lithics, ground-stone tools, pottery-making tool) and pottery, suggesting that a variety of activities occurred in the structure.

Some usable artifacts were left in the structure; a small portion of the roof was intentionally burned and at least partly collapsed at the time of abandonment. Human remains were deposited in roof fall and wall fall, probably as the result of an attack that resulted in the deaths of many of the villagers.
