Structure 208, masonry surface structure
About this Structure
General Location
Between butte face and large boulder.
Specific Location
4 m northwest of Structure 110.
Interpretive Type
Tower.
Structure Use
Few data; only a portion of the east wall extant, and this portion "hangs" between butte face and boulder well above modern ground surface. This was the second story of a structure that was at least two stories tall and was probably the only access to the structure or structures on top of the adjacent boulder. This upper story could have been used for domestic purposes, storage, defense, or some combination of these.
Dating

No abandonment data that are specific to this structure. Abandonment of the structure is thought to have occurred as a result of an attack that resulted in the deaths of many of the villagers and that ended the occupation of the village.
