Use of structure inferred to be consistent with other small kivas of this time period--probably some combination of domestic and ritual uses. Artifacts left on the surface of the southern recess include a mano, an abrader, a pendant, and miscellaneous sherds. Artifacts left on the floor include a core, a chipped-stone tool, a ball of unfired clay, and miscellaneous sherds. These artifacts suggest that a variety of domestic activities occurred in this structure. Structure was probably used in manner similar to other small, late-Pueblo III kivas in this area..

This structure appears to have been abandoned in a manner similar to other kivas at the site--that is, as a result of an attack in which many villagers were killed and that ended the occupation of the village. Some portion of the roof was burned.
