Spring means a lot of great things at Crow Canyon–the trees and flowers across campus start to bloom, the marmots wake up from their winter’s sleep, and the sound of excited school kids fill the air!
Crow Canyon saw it’s first group of students of the year in March as we welcomed a great group of kids and chaperons from Green Fields School in Tucson, Arizona. The group learned about Pueblo Indian history and an introduction to Archaeology through innovative, hands-on activities such as a simulated archaeological dig, fire starting (with a bow drill), making fiber cordage, and “hunting” with a spear and an atlatl.

We hope to see you again soon, Green Fields!
