Honoring the Life and Legacy of Tayler Hasbrouck

Posted April 27, 2025

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Tayler Hasbrouck. Tayler was a guiding force in fostering global connections through online education, spearheading the Discover Archaeology Webinar Series and facilitating Cultural Explorations program registration. Her unwavering dedication allowed countless individuals to engage meaningfully with diverse perspectives, expanding knowledge and building bridges across communities.

Her generosity and spirit left a lasting impact, and while her absence is deeply felt, her legacy of compassion and commitment remains. As we navigate this difficult time, we hold her memory close and find comfort in the work she so passionately pursued. More than anything, we recognize the profound love and support of Tayler’s family and friends, whose kindness and strength shaped the incredible person she was. Their unwavering care, laughter, and encouragement filled her life with joy and purpose, and we honor them as we celebrate her memory.

In light of this loss, Benjamin Strickland will be your primary contact for the webinar series and Cultural Explorations program registration. We also have discontinued livestreaming of the webinars on Facebook until further notice.

It is an immense privilege to carry forward Tayler’s mission—bringing diverse voices together, celebrating shared knowledge, and ensuring these vital conversations continue.

We ask for your support in helping us find our footing during this transition. If you had been working with Tayler on program registration or other matters, please take a moment to reach out to us at info@crowcanyon.org and share where you were in your process so we can seamlessly continue the work she championed with such passion. Your dedication to these impactful programs means more now than ever, and we are profoundly grateful for your participation.

To honor Tayler’s legacy, donations to support the Crow Canyon Discover Archaeology Webinar Series—her brainchild—would be greatly appreciated. Contributions can be made on our website at www.crowcanyon.org.
