Chris Nicholson is the Executive Director of the Center for Digital Antiquity at Arizona State University and oversees the tDAR repository (the Digital Archaeological Record). He has a Ph.D. in archaeology (University of Wyoming) and his work is focused on digital data preservation, archives and archival research, and open access platforms in anthropology. For fun, his outside research interests include paleoclimates and environmental archaeology, human paleoecology, and landscape archaeology.
