Karl is Vice President of Dietze and Davis, P.C. in Boulder, Colorado, where he has practiced water and energy law since 1997. According to Karl, there are few better ways to understand the American West and all of its cultures than through the lens of water. He rejoined the Board in 2018 and was elected as Vice Chair in October 2023. Karl lives in Boulder.
