Steve Wolverton

Steve Wolverton is a Professor in the Department of Geography and the Environment at the University of North Texas. His research focuses on historical ecology, zooarchaeology, and animal ecology in North and South America during the Holocene, emphasizing conservation, environmental justice, and heritage ethics. Steve is currently Vice President of the Society of Ethnobiology. He recently co-authored “Becoming a Researcher: Making the Transition to Graduate School” with Dr. Jonathan Dombrosky.
